After two days of technology showcases, interactive activities and networking, Son Tra Innovation Fest 2026 (SIF 2026) officially came to a close on the afternoon of October 4, attracting more than 2,000 local residents, visitors and young people.
Held under the theme “Global Technology Meets Local Lifestyle,” SIF 2026 created a space where technology, innovation and local life came together. The festival not only introduced technology products, solutions and digital transformation initiatives, but also gave visitors opportunities to experience and explore how technology can address real-life needs.
Connecting Technology With Real-World Needs
On the final day of the festival, participating businesses continued to showcase technology products, innovative solutions and digital transformation applications, creating opportunities for direct interaction between technology and the community.
Alongside the exhibition and experience areas, SIF 2026 featured seminars and discussions on digital transformation, the use of AI in education, and the development direction of the Son Tra Innovation Zone. These activities opened up further conversations about how technology can be applied to governance, education, business and everyday life.
276 Entries Bringing New Perspectives On Son Tra
One of the highlights of SIF 2026 was the AI Animation Contest and the Son Tra Innovation Park Ideas Competition, which received a total of 276 entries.
The submissions explored Son Tra from different perspectives, covering its nature, environment, ecosystem, culture and future development as an innovation space. Beyond demonstrating the creative use of AI and technology, the entries showed how technology can also become a tool for telling meaningful and relatable stories about the local community.
During the closing ceremony, the Organizing Committee honored the authors and teams behind the outstanding entries.

New Connections Continue Beyond SIF 2026
SIF 2026 was organized with the aim of bringing innovation closer to residents, businesses and the wider community. Over the two-day festival, the event provided a space for government representatives, businesses, scientists, universities and the community to meet, exchange ideas and explore new opportunities for collaboration. This also reflects Son Tra’s broader direction in developing its innovation ecosystem and advancing digital transformation.
